Jeremiyah Love is the best back in this class by a wide margin, which shouldn't come as a surprise given the hype he's getting going into the draft. Love has been an irreplaceable part of the Notre Dame offense the past two years and finished third in the Heisman voting this past year. There isn't much to dislike about Love's game, he is equally adept as both a runner and receiver which makes him a threat anywhere on the field. His pass protection is very advanced for such a young player, and you can tell he cares about keeping his quarterback upright.
Our model reflects similarly on Love's profile. He has an outstanding rushing grade from torching college defenses the past two years. His receiving grade is one of the best in this class and stacks up amongst other classes as well. He compares most closely with Travis Etienne Jr. in our model, except he is better in almost every single category our model values. Love is the clear 1.01 in a draft that is lacking star power and should provide fantasy managers with plenty of RB1 seasons over the course of his career.
